Cookie Policy

Effective date: 15 October 2026.

Cookie Policy

This is the cookie policy for the website operated by Nextgen Pure Data Pty Ltd ("we", "us") at nextgenpuredata.com.au. It explains what cookies and similar local storage technologies are, what this site actually uses them for, what we deliberately do not use them for, and how you can control or delete them. The site is a static corporate website for an Australian financial data services practice; it is not a logged-in portal, not a trading platform, and not an advertising network. We keep cookie use intentionally minimal.

1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store on your computer, phone or tablet when you visit. Cookies allow a site to remember your actions or preferences over a period of time, so you do not have to re-enter them on each visit. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixel tags and clear GIFs. For the purposes of this policy, "cookies" includes these equivalent local storage mechanisms.

Cookies can be set by the site you are visiting (first-party cookies) or by a third party whose content is embedded in the page (third-party cookies). They can be session cookies, which expire when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which remain until they expire or you delete them.

2. What this website uses cookies for

This site is built as a set of static HTML pages. It does not have a login, a shopping cart, a personalised dashboard or a saved-preferences panel. As a result, our legitimate cookie use is limited to the following.

Strictly necessary local storage. We may set a small piece of local storage to remember that you have dismissed a notice or banner, so that the notice does not reappear on every page you load. This storage is not used to identify you, it is not shared with anyone, and it expires when you clear your browser data.

Server logs. Our Australian hosting provider records standard web server logs when you visit: your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, your browser type and operating system, and the referring page. These logs are used for operational purposes, to diagnose outages, to detect abuse, and to count basic page volumes. They are not matched to your identity, they are not sold, and they are retained for a limited operational period before being overwritten.

That is the full list. We do not currently set analytics cookies, advertising cookies, social plugins or embedded tracking pixels on this site.

3. What we do not use cookies for

We do not use cookies or similar technologies on this site for any of the following purposes:

We have deliberately not integrated third-party analytics or tag-management scripts into the public pages. If that changes in future, this policy will be updated before the scripts go live, and the categories of cookie will be listed here.

4. First-party and third-party cookies in use

The table below describes the cookies or equivalent storage this site currently sets. Because the site is static, the list is short and stable.

We use a self-hosted font mirror to serve the typefaces used on this site, rather than loading fonts from a third-party content delivery network that could otherwise track visitors. No third-party advertising, analytics or social cookies are set on the public pages.

5. How to manage and delete cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Every major browser lets you refuse cookies, block third-party cookies, or delete existing cookies. Because this site does not rely on cookies to function, blocking or deleting cookies will not prevent you from reading the public pages, downloading a deliverable sample, or using the contact form. It will only reset the dismissed-notice preference.

Instructions for common browsers:

If you browse on more than one browser or on more than one device, you will need to adjust the settings in each. You can also use the "Do Not Track" or "Prevent cross-site tracking" options offered by modern browsers; this site does not attempt to circumvent those signals.

6. Links to other sites

This site may, from time to time, link to external sites operated by regulators, data vendors, or clients' own pages. Those sites set their own cookies, which are not covered by this policy. We are not responsible for the content or cookie practices of external sites. If you follow a link away from nextgenpuredata.com.au, we recommend you read that site's own cookie and privacy policy.

7. Updates to this policy

We may revise this policy if the site's cookie use changes, for example if we add an opt-in analytics tool or a hosted quote system. The effective date at the top of this page shows when the current version took effect. Material changes will be described on this page before they take effect. If we begin setting cookies that fall outside the categories listed here, we will update this page and, where required under Australian privacy guidance, present a notice before the cookies are set.

8. Contact
