What we do, what we do not do, how engagements are priced, and where the line between data processing and investment advice sits.
No. We are a data processing and technical services practice. We do not provide financial product advice, do not recommend securities, do not issue buy/sell views, and do not manage client funds. Our output is clean datasets, documented analysis and dashboards. Any investment decision should be made by you in consultation with a licensed financial adviser.
No. We do not operate a custody service. We do not accept funds for investment. Our invoices are for data processing, analysis and consulting services only.
Institutional investment managers, family offices, superannuation funds, research houses and B2B data teams. We do not service retail investors, and we do not sell consumer-facing products.
Client market data processed under an engagement is stored on Australian-hosted infrastructure. We do not offshore processing of client data without explicit discussion.
Yes. We routinely work alongside Bloomberg, Refinitiv, S&P, RBA, ABS and other source feeds. We also check your vendor licences to ensure our use of the data is within the redistribution terms.
Most engagements are scoped as a fixed-price piece of work after an initial scoping call. Ongoing maintenance or recurring data packs are quoted separately. We do not sell subscriptions. Tell us the scope on the quote form and we will come back with a written estimate.
No. We are paid for data work, not for investment outcomes. We have no economic interest in the performance of any portfolio.
Yes. That is a common first engagement. We will review the licence terms with you to ensure our cleansing work stays within what the vendor permits.
Most scoped engagements start within two to three weeks of a signed estimate. Small sample-reconciliation trials can sometimes be turned around within five business days.
We will tell you plainly. If a request crosses into investment advice, tax advice or legal advice, we refer you to a licensed professional rather than blurring the line.
